About SaprophyteCA
Saprophyte is an experimental metal band based out of Toronto, Ontario and is primarily influenced by death, progressive and thrash metal, but also takes in much from the genres of jazz, reggae and progressive rock. The band, formed in late 2008, has undergone several line-up changes before settling on the current one in March of 2009. Since recently establishing a solid line-up, Saprophyte has already shared the stage with the likes of Odium and Shatterpoint, and has recently released their first EP.
