About Saphyria
Formerly named Cryptic Spell, this band from Portugal was formed in 2012 by ex-Fallen Paradise's lead guitar player: Mike Cordeiro and vocalist Ana Vieira, with the need of forming a band with a fantastic, mellow, mature and enchanting sound, influenced by major Symphonic Gothic Metal acts like Tristania, Theatre of Tragedy, Sirenia, Elis, Epica, Nightwish and others... After the loss of some members in September 2012, Cryptic Spell changes it's name to Saphyria and continues to work hard in new music with a new member
