About Sam Davidson
The love child of an Italian aristocrat and a gypsy servant-girl, the artist going by the name of Sam Davidson was a staple of the Prog-Folk-Metal world long before he decided to break into the dance scene. Inspired, however, by the work of French Decadents and the Cosmonauts, he stepped happily into the realm of repetitive bassy psychedelia this very month. His new sound verges from the sparse textures of dubstep to the fast moving break-beats of jungle, by way of Kate Bush, Genesis and the Jazz Poetry of Jack Kerouac.
