There are at least 2 bands with this name: 1) Allan Barnett is the drummer for this band. Andy is on bass/vocals. Ron on Rhythm guitar and John on lead guitar. 2) Early-90s Richmond, VA band featuring brothers Mark Linkous (formerly of Dancing Hoods) and Matt Linkous, Chip Jones, and Steve Schick. Formed in late 1989 as The Johnson Family, the band soon changed to Salt Chunk Mary after a character in the Jack Black memoir 'You Can't Win'. Demos were circulated, but no official releases were made.
