About Sacrilege NYC
Pre-Nausea band active in the mid-1980s, featuring Adam Mucci (bass), Clay Rice (vocals), Tim Copeland (drums) and Victor "Venom" Dominicis (guitars). In 2013, labels Wardance and Radio Raheem compiled the band's two 1985 demos. The first side of the compilation is mostly d-beat with a Crucifix-inspired sound, while the other is very much punky '80s extreme metal, like a mixture of Venom, Celtic Frost, and Discharge. Some of Sacrilege songs like "Fallout Of Our Being" and "Productive Not Destructive" ended up reworked through Nausea.
