About Russ Preston
My Story I’ve been playing music in the northeast for the past 20 years or so, both singing songs I’ve written and covering songs I like. I’m a member of the Connecticut Songwriters Association, and attended The Swannanoa Gathering, a summer music program outside of Ashville NC, where over a period of years I studied with some of the finest songwriters in the country including Fred Koller, Bob Franke, Tom Paxton, Steve Seskin,and Steve Gillette.
