About Rupert Blackman
Rupert Blackman is a singer/songwriter from London, currently living in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Blackman has been songwriting for many years, and his songwriting has taken many different paths. He released Safe and Sound, his debut EP, in 2007. The EP was refective of Rupert's musical taste at the time; the songs, organic and heartfelt, natural and spacious. Since then, Rupert has developed his songwriting further and is settling on the more popular sound that is beginning to develop. He is now joined by four like-minded musicians.
