The band’s name reflects the fact they are a fierce live act, and are creating a buzz wherever they go, pulling rowdy audiences to witness this vastly popular unsigned band. Running Riots have been in some form since 2005 but it was the start of 2008 which saw the birth of Running Riots. The bands influences include The Jam, New York Dolls, The Clash, The Pixies, and more recently The Libertines, The Maccabees and Maximo Park.
