About Rumiko Jr
Formed in Hastings, Britain by singer and guitarist Dean Adams Rumiko Jr began life as an alt.country band influenced by americana acts such as The Jayhawks and Gram Parsons and the power pop of Big Star. Characterised by 3 part vocal harmonies and a West Coast pop sound their debut album Broken Down, Whiskey Sound was picked up by Spanish indie Rock Indiana and a release and tour followed. Returning to Britain drummer Bill Darlington left to be replaced by Jimmy James and the band began work on their second album Haunting The Townsfolk.
