About Rudovous
About RUDOVOUS The band was founded in 1994 in Prague and it was a quartet at the time, consisting of a guitar, a bass guitar, drums and an accordion. A year later the clarinet was added and that is how the band performs until today. Thanks to the rather un-traditional cast and the extraordinary, gruff voice of the lead singer, drummer and songwriter Martin Cizek the band is easily distinguishable. They like to describe themselves as "rock & schrammel shrapnel chanson band", but naming the style should better be left up to the audience.
