About Ruby Colley
Belfast-based violinist & composer. A classically trained violinist, Ruby's solo material also comprises the use of a variety of peddles, such as a loop-station, delay, and octave, in order to create complex overlapping layers of ambient sound-scapes. http://www.myspace.com/rubycolley Her first EP My Elegant Insect was released in early May 2008, and she has played support to the likes of Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett), A Hawk and a Hacksaw (LEAF label), and the late John Martyn; her debut album Murmurations was released in February 2010.
