
Ruben Zahra is a Maltese composer known for his contemporary music that blends influences from rock, folk, and jazz. His works span music theatre, multimedia, and film, and have been performed across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. Trained in Malta, Italy, and the USA, Zahra studied with renowned composers including Ennio Morricone. A former film composer in Hollywood, he now works internationally from Malta, also serving as a cultural entrepreneur and director of several arts organisations and festivals.
