About Royal Geography Society
Royal Geography Society is Aaron Deer and Michael Tapscott (of the psychedelic/ambient project Odawas). Based out of Oakland, California, the duo was initially formed to compose the soundtrack for a documentary film about mushroom cultivation. Upon hearing the early recordings, they were fired by the director. Their debut album "Golden Man" was released on the Ruralfaune imprint in the summer of 2011.
