Row of Cookies is a synthpop band from British Columbia. They are very heavily influenced by new wave and ebm. Their first single, New Girl Now, released in 2010, is an electro/progressive-house cover of Honeymoon Suite's '80s hit. The Row of Cookies version is the first pop song to feature a sample of Inuit throat singing (heard in the short sample is the voice of Tanya Tagaq, who has collaborated with Bjork, Mike Patton, and Kronos Quartet).
