Route 017 began in 2009 as the musical side-project of multi-instrumentalist Kelsey Haugh, then 17 years old. Inspired by the light feeling from travelling lonely roads, Route 017 is named for a forlorn highway in Colorado, USA. Route 017's low-fidelity first EP, Tones from the Overpass, was released in 2010 and consists of swaying melodies from a fifty-year-old accordion, 1980s casiotone, glockenspiel, toy piano, and synthesizers. A new track, Transverse (February 2015)
