Round the Horne is one of the classic BBC Radio comedy programmes. It ran for four series from 1965 to 1968. The show was written by Barry Took and Marty Feldman, with other writers contributing during the last series after Feldman left the show. The cast was Kenneth Horne (the straight man around whom the madness revolved), Kenneth Williams, Hugh Paddick, Betty Marsden, Bill Pertwee and announcer Douglas Smith.
