About Rouge Nation

Rouge Nation was a hardcore band from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Formed in Winnipeg, Canada during the summer of 2002 by 4 long time Canadian Hardcore scenesters – Benjamin Haddad, FAT Mat Perlman, Mike Peters and Omar X - the band started with the intent of playing heavy hardcore (ala Hatebreed and Madball) combined with the punk rock attitude and political urgency that first made the genre such a vibrant and crucial avenue for expression. Within months, Rogue Nation recorded a 5 song demo Our Conspiracy and embarked on their first Canadian tour.
