A multi-instrumentalist, Ross plays, records and manipulates every instrument though his mainstay sounds involve percussion, drum loops, layered harmonies, acoustic guitars, blues harp, synthesizer and mandolin. His chief influences are The Clash, Aphex Twin and John Martyn.
