About Rosing
From Surf to Shoegaze to Post-Rock to Soul, Rosing’s debut EP samples a wide array of influences through a compact 20 minute journey of lush textures and spacious arrangements. A collaboration between Los Angeles-based musicians Michael O’Neill, Olivia Dessy and Chris Moore, each track experiments with a different sonic palette. The EP swerves from the ambient crescendo in the album’s intro, “Sustain”, to the abstractly apocalyptic rhythms of “Beige Oblivion”, to Olivia’s luscious crooning on the Surf-Ballad, “Skeletons.
