About Roshell Anderson
Roshell Anderson was born on September 16, 1952 in Bogalusa, Louisiana, and raised in New Orleans. He worked at a number of southern radio stations as announcer and disc jockey beginning in 1970, releasing his first single Snake Out of Green Grass in 1972, with a debut album, Introducing, coming out in 1973. Scattered singles continued in the mid-70s as he hit the touring circuit. In 1978-79 he switched his focus to a journalism career and became more well-known as television reporter and anchor Mike Anderson in Birmingham
