1) Ronnie Singer (June 9, 1928 – September 12, 1953) was an American jazz guitarist in Chicago and New York City during the late 1940s and early 1950s. His talent has been compared to Jimmy Raney and his style noted as influential on other jazz musicians. At the age of 25, he and his wife committed suicide in New York. According to Lou Levy, Singer "was one of the great losses... He would have been one of the all-time greats." Listen & download: https://archive.org/details/RonnieSingerLiveInNewYorkEarly1950s
