About Ron Kopald
Ron Kopald was born in Detroit Michigan in 1964. As a child he tried different instruments, including alto saxophone, viola, and piano, but none stuck. Ron started playing his own guitar at 18, a gift from his mother, and began experimenting with home recording at the age of 21. He lived in Boulder Colorado for 4 years, where the music environment was lacking. After moving to Oregon in 1990, Ron founded "Minimum Wage" with fellow band mates Joshua Dahleger and Sean Tuthill.
