About Romain Frequency
French composer Romain Frequency releases a solo debut album “Research On a Nameless Colour” inspired by Derek Jarman’s final collection of Essays entitled “Chroma” released in 1994, the year he passed away and written while struggling with illness (facing the irony of an artist going blind). It triggered the composition of 7 tracks devoted to an unexisting colour and its attendant emotion. ´´Research on a Nameless Colour, is a transposition of a certain contemplative state into sound.
