About Roma Violenta
Roma Violenta started with its founding members Tito (a Spaniard deeply in love with Suicidal Tendencies and the fast pace of the Bay Area) and Alex (an Italian who lived mostly on Black Sabbath and Faith No More) searching for a project which could mix the violence of hardcore with the bitter sadness of doom metal. 2006 was spent hosting auditions with a variety of misfits. The search was so unfruitful that the two decided to give up at the beginning of 2007 until they met Andy Butcher through an ad posted somewhere on a music website.
