Long Island, NY’s Rockets On Wire are fueled by disappointment. I Am Not Your Home, their full length debut, is a record built out of post-college frustration and jilted love. “Most of us graduated from college and didn’t have a clue what we were doing,” says guitarist Ryan Barnes. “We were displaced. We moved back home but we didn’t really live there anymore.” The quintet weathered a rocky first year as a band – long term romances dissolved, members came and went.
