About Riverleaf
Charlie Riverleaf (Carlos Rioja) lives near a river and writes simple and imperfect songs. He was just a kid when, along with his brother and cousins, made some funny and toxic tapes featuring late eighties covers plus some simple themes, including the acclaimed tape "Dark Days" (1991), full of casiotone and basement attitude. In the late nineties he co-founded Age of Desfase, a virtual trash-punk band. Because of its autodestructive spirit, it didn't last, and Charlie focused on simple guitar songs.
