About River City Blues Band
Artist Biography by: Charlotte Dillon - AllMusic Vocalist and guitarist Johnny Goodwin, bassist Joe Miles, and drummer Mike Safron make up the blues threesome known as the River City Blues Band. The group formed in 1993 in St. Louis, MO, though some of the original lineup was a little different. The River City Blues Band started performing in small clubs and anywhere they could hope to draw in a few new fans. As time went by, the guys began to add more folk-rock and roots-rock numbers to their blues act.
