
Ritchie Adams (Richard Adam Ziegler, 15 December 1945 - 6 March 2017) was an American doo-wop singer with The Fireflies and songwriter. Born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA, Ritchie Adams was an original member of The Fireflies, a 1950s doo-wop vocal group. Adams went on to release some solo singles and had a successful songwriting career, including the hits "Tossin' and Turnin'" and "After the Lovin'". Adams died on 6 March 2017 aged 71
