Born 15 November 1948 in Staufenbrücke/Bad Reichenhall, Germany, Georg Ringsgwandl is a Bavarian singer-songwriter, author and comedian. He is best known for his mixture of traditional Bavarian folkmusic with modern rock music plus a touch of distinctive bizarre and comical elements. In 1993 he quit his day-time job as a cardiologist in Munich to fully concentrate on his musical career.
