About Ridina Ahmedová
She was born in 1974 to a Sudanese father and a Czech mother, has lived in Prague till the age of four, then she spent 10 years in Oran, the biggest harbour in Algeria. She is back in Prague since 1988. For several years she used to be a jazz singer. At the beginning of her studies at the Faculty of humanities of the Charles University, during an obligatory opening outdoor weekend she met Tomáš Dvořák/Floex. That coincidence was the beginning of a collaboration, first on the CD Pocustone, then on the live Floex band project.
