About Richard Love
Richard Love (real Name Richard Frederick Dearlove) was born in London in the 1920s. He came from a musical family and was a 'self-taught' musician who could play a variety of instruments. He eventually settled on the piano-accordion and was an accomplished practioner playing in a number of small bands in the 60s and 70s before becoming a solo artist and eventually turning his hand to the keyboards. He became a very popular entertainer in the local clubs in and around Southampton.
