About Richard Barraclough
Richard Barraclough was born in Wakefield, West Yorkshire in 1964. His interest in music started to develop in his teens with the standard introduction of 'electric guitar as birthday present'. In the mid-1980s a move to London widened musical horizons. Barraclough played lead guitar in a West-London pub rock band - The Perfect Strangers - but this involvement in live music was curtailed when he started to work full-time in a recording studio (Eden Studios) initially as a tape op'/assistant engineer and thence as a sound engineer.
