Rhoderic Land lives in Paris where he began recording his songbook in 1998 with a piano, a drum, and a tape recorder.“Land of the living” is his most complete and accomplished collection to date, and the first to be made internationally available. Witty and eclectic, the British singer’s arrangements are built on the pop and jazz genres of the 50’s and 60’s with nods to Elvis, to Sinatra and even to Ravel. His lyrics take a wry look at the joys of love, life and money, and sometimes what happens when you lose them.
