About Repress the Cadence
Repress the Cadence was a post-hardcore band from Winchester, VA whose works all centered around a small cast of characters, primarily the family of Carpus Varro, a poor farmer who turns to a life of crime to put food on the table. The vision of the band was born in late 2007 in Winchester, VA when Jordan Coley, former vocalist of a pop punk band called ...Promise decided he wanted to toy with a new sound for the band's new music. In the process, the character of Carpus Varro was born when Jordan wrote "The Ride of Carpus Varro.
