Reknir and the Due Opp is a West Seattle native specializing in a mix of electronic, hip-hop, indie rock and pop music. After producing music in San Francisco, Reknir released his debut E.P. just after moving back to Seattle in 2009. The Broken Mic E.P. was a two volume set influenced heavily by unconventional samples and the 'Due Opp' sound. As explained by Reknir the 'Due Opp' was his transformation from a producer into artist and the experiences that came with.
