Reina Rodina is a young female artist (1987) from Friesland, The Netherlands. She sings in her own minority language, Frisian, which lies closest to her heart. Her music can not be categorized easily, but the term dreampop – sounds floating from ambient to post-rock – covers it fairly. Sometimes her music touches Björk, Lamb, Yann Tiersen and Massive Attack. In 2011 she got her bachelor degree for the Academy of Pop Culture in Leeuwarden (NL), but at that time she was actually already independent.
