About Redlands African Drumming Ensemble
The African Drumming Ensemble is a group located at the University of Redlands in Redlands, CA. Meetings are informal and open to the entire university. 2009-2010 co-presidents are Coulter Stone and Katie Ferrell; 2010-2011 co-presidents are Quincy Kennedy and Shiloh Drake. The group uses West African djembes and two sets of jun-juns. Members have a ten-song repertoire for both playing and dancing, which increases every year with the help of a hired master drummer and professional dancer.
