RED20 was conceived by Alastair Turl at the end of 2002 as an instrumental electronic music project. These sonic experiments culminated in the release “World in Flames” in April 2003. Some time in May that year, guitarist Andrew Hawnt joined RED20. 2004’s release “Misled But Not Dead” dragged the RED20 sound in a more guitar-oriented direction as Al and Andy’s musical backgrounds collided. The new sound coalesced further with “The Red Album” later that same year
