About Red Sails
Red Sails is Tom Tierney, Patrick Southern and Colin Fahrner. The trio was initially formed as a backing band for Tom Tierney's solo folk/punk project - playing the folk tunes in a new, noisier format. Today, Red Sails brings to life the wilder face of Tierney's songwriting, which the Boston Globe has called "a mix of punk rock, pretty melodies, atypical composition, and gravelly voiced storytelling." Since forming, Red Sails has released an eponymous EP and has performed extensively in the New York and Boston area.
