Red Queen Hypothesis is the flagship band of a large collective of Midwestern weirdos (Rowntree Records) based out of Indianapolis, Indiana—a sort of Bermuda Triangle of rural sonic oddity that has expelled cassette and hand-packaged CD-R's since 2000 by such bands you've never heard as the Snatchclaws, the Library, and Sharky Farmers. Red Queen Hypothesis—or RQH, as their several fans call them—perform a timeless, fuzzy-cute pop that has drawn comparisons to the Polyphonic Spree, the Gerbils, and Jim Henson's Muppets.
