About Record Makers
Record Makers is an independant label founded in 2000 by AIR and their associates Marc Teissier du CROS and Stephane ELFASSI, following the release of their soundtrack for Sofia Coppola's The Virgin Suicides. Record Makers is devoted to showing that the French can make beautiful music for the world. We decided that the successes of acts like AIR, Daft Punk or Carla Bruni were not isolated "export wonders" and that French music has a strong potential, even if not exclusively dance or "Chanson".
