About Rebecca Butler
Rebecca Butler and The Richards are an alternative pop-rock band from Austin, Texas. The band started as an acoustic venture of Rebecca Butler’s (vocals/rhythm guitar), but was soon joined by Sam Ogden (lead guitar). Early in 2011 the rest of the band came together: Patrick Young (bass), Jordan Cook (drums), and Pierce Saxon (keyboard/ukulele), taking on the name “The Richards” – (think: nickname for Richard). With the addition of the full band, the musical style of Rebecca Butler and the Richards gained the dance/ rock vibe it has now.
