About Real Frogs
Real Frogs is the brainchild of John Paul Foster, a young musician from a small town called Montevallo, Alabama. In high school, John Paul recognized his talent for composition as he taught himself to write songs in the same mode as Weezer and Ozma. He formed a short lived high school 'garage' band with classmates Slinks Dewees (bass), Carl 'Cheeseburger' Conway (guitar), and Theo Metz (drums) called The Turtle Pills. John Paul continued to write after the band split, designating his solo projects as performed by 'Real Frogs.
