Jairo Esteban Morales Salgado, known as Rd Jems was born on August 14, 1999 in the city of Barranquilla, department of Atlántico, Colombia. At the age of 9 he began to take an interest in music, participating in civic events at school, dancing to Michael Jackson songs. At the age of 12, he decided to dabble in rap music, debuting as Rd Jems in youth groups at La Milagrosa, Faith and Joy, where he became known as Rd Jems. Later on, several groups were born, made up of him and his friends.
