Raymond Herrera (born Monday, December 18, 1972), is a musician and the drummer/one of the original members of the Industrial metal band Fear Factory. His drumming is considered to be a large part of Fear Factory's appeal to fans and is also known to use triggers on his drum set. While he is praised for his drumming, his usage of triggers has been criticized by some who feel he is cheating the often high sounding speed. However, the reason Herrera uses the triggers is because when he plays fast the sound can become muffled
