About Ray Clemens
RAY CLEMENS, bass (Seattle) Ray Clemens grew up in Oklahoma. Eventually Ray found himself out of favor at the local high school, so conned his way to the ever magnificent Idyllwild Arts Academy right down SoCal ways. Following IAA, Ray wound up in NYC attending the New School. He has had the utmost privilege of studying with some amazing musicians including Arnie Lawrence, Marshall Hawkins, Buster Williams, and Peter Paulsen. In addition, Ray has been blessed to have performed with some wonderful musicians and groups as well
