Formed already back in 1996 under the name of Seregon, the band consisted of two individuals from the far north of Sweden. Inspiration was drawn from the feeling they had towards the black metal scene of the time, the nature surrounding them and the constant strive towards strength and honour. As time passed, that immense feeling started to evade them, and when their songs were recorded focus had rather moved towards the actual longing and search for that feeling.
