Rareluth is equal parts indie pop and electronica, thanks to the combination of Ortego's busy beats, DeJean's bass hum and Peirce's buzzing keyboard lines and powerful, sultry voice. Hot off the heels of well-attended shows with bands like Royal Teeth and Dire Wood, Rareluth just released a free demo. Now, the band is looking to the future, but is in no rush to see the fruits of its labor. "We did [the demo] really quick," Peirce said. "That was our first step, getting that out.
