Rapid Creek began as rock tribute to God and Country for a local small-town Idaho 4th of July celebration in2006. Ron Clayson auditioned over 500 “Rock” songs and was extremely dismayed by lack of positive material in the genre. Up until this time, Ron had only played Organ and Piano in Church. Ron recruited Dave Morrison– a retired road-warrior - to do sound and play bass/guitar, and the high school band teacher, a local Pastor and Dale – a ‘fine’ piano player – to fill out the rest of the band.
