About Raphy Santos
Rafael DeJesus Peralta (Raphy Santos) was born in Mao Valverde, Dominican Republic on July 14. Born into a low class, but very humble family, Raphy liked music and singing in particular. He began to write poems for his mother. His parents Tércida and Rafael saw Raphy the most ambitious of their kids, as today, he is the only musician of his siblings. When Raphy was 11-year-old, his mother unbeknown to his father enrolled him in piano class with the teacher Doña Antonia Arté "Tontón"
